Processing Owe Balances With Digital Owe Balance ON

When Digital Owe Balance is ON, Owe Balances flow through different steps of Digital Workflow based on your pharmacy's Workflow configuration for Retail and Compliance Pack prescriptions. The Workflow status of the Owe Balance will be visible on the Patient Profile in red, and a log of the date, time, and user who completed a Workflow step will be accessible from the Workflow Details window and e-File copy. This enables your pharmacy to manage your Owe Balances electronically.

You do NOT need to have Digital Workflow enabled to use the Digital Owe Balance feature. Owe Balances will flow through select queues that your pharmacy has enabled. Please note, Owe Balances will not flow through Clinical Review, as the clinical check was performed at time of the initial fill.
